Robert was born on October 26, 1969, in Georgetown, Ontario. Later his parents moved to Ste-Marie- de-Kent, New Brunswick where Maillet grew up. The name of his parents is not disclosed yet and we will update you as soon as the names come up.
Maillet completed his early education from the French-Acadian village where he grew up. Maillet’s physical trait is perfect for heavy sports and so he started his career as a professional wrestler at the age of 28 in the year 1997.

Robert signed a contract with World Wrestling Federation (WWF) later known as WWE. Maillet arrived in the U.S. in 1997 as the Interrogator of the Truth Commission who were three times USWA world tag team champions. Maillet
debuted his wrestling match with The Jackyl in WWF Shotgun Saturday night in November 10, 1997. Maillet’s ring name evolved ad Kurrgan in the later years. After the Truth Commission got disbanded, Maillet continued as a single wrestler managed by The Jackyl.

Using the name Giant Kurgan, he worked for Emile Dupre's Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling (AGPW) and the St. John’s -based Legend City Wrestling (LCW). Before retiring, Maillet Continued to compete in Canada and elsewhere to focus on his acting career.
Speaking of his acting career, Robert Maillet first appeared in television screens in the 2001 series, Lexx.

spotted several times in movies. His most famous appearance was in the 2009 movie Sherlock Holmes and 2014 movie Hercules.
