Laura Ingraham born on June 19, 1963 in Glastonbury, Connecticut, U.S.is a daughter of her parents Anne Caroline and James Frederick Ingraham III. She was born to a middle class family and was raised for most part in the small township of the Glastonbury Center community.
Education and Career
In 1981, at the age of 18, Laura got graduation from Glastonbury High School, which was the only high school in the town of Glastonbury, Connecticut. 4 years later in 1985, she earned a bachelor's degree at Dartmouth College. In 1991, she got a "Juris Doctor", a professional doctorate at the University of "Virginia School of Law".
She was a staff member of the independent conservative newspaper, The Dartmouth Review. while she was on her Dartmouth undergraduate. For the newspaper, she became the first female editor-in-chief, while she was in her senior year.
In 1997, she wrote an essay in "The Washington Post", where she admitted that she changed her views on homosexuality.
She explains that she motivates civil unions, but for the matter of marriage, she thinks marriage is between a man and a woman.
Ingraham worked as a speechwriter in the Ronald Reagan administration for the Domestic Policy Advisor, in late 1980.
Her book, "Of Thee I Zing", was released in July 2011. In August 2013, conservative Newsmax magazine named She was named among the "25 most influential women in the GOP, by Conservative Newsmax magazine in August 2013.
