Early life

Talking about his early life, Jeffrey Tambor was born on July 8, 1944, in San Francisco, California to mother Eileen, a homemaker and father Bernard Tambor, a flooring contractor. He was brought up in a Conservative Jewish family with the roots in Hungary and Ukraine. Currently, he is running at the age of seventy-four and manages to look still young. Jeffrey is also known for his dashing personality and height of 6 ft 1 inch.

Education and Career

Jeffrey enrolled at the Abraham Lincoln High School and San Francisco State University and completed his schooling from there. Later, he joined Wayne State University to receive master’s degree in the field of acting. But he dropped out of a Ph.D. program in 1970 to appear alongside Richard Chamberlain in a Seattle Repertory Theater production of Richard II.
Talking about his career, Jeffrey moved to repertory theater in Milwaukee and after that, he made his Broadway debut in the comedy Sly Fox at the age of thirty-two. He also appeared in Measure to Measure in the following year. In 1979, he starred in Norman Jewison’s and Justice For All. He has a significant career in TV shows. He made several guest appearance on different shows like Taxi, The Golden Girls, and Three’s Company. At the age of thirty-five, he got his major role in the short-lived show The Ropers. At the age of forty-four, he appeared as a regular on the prime time ABC series Max Headroom. In February 2014, Amazon premiered its original series Transparent which starred Jeffrey as Maura Pfefferman.

Personal life

Jeffry and Kasia Ostlun were in love affair for a long time. After their marriage, the couple gave birth to son Gabriel Kasper on October 10, 2004. Jeffry and Kasia have four children altogether including son Gabriel Kasper, younger daughter Eve Julia, and two sons Hugo Bernard and Eli Nichols born on October 4, 2009. He also has adult daughters from his earlier wife Katherine Mitchell. Jeffry and Kasia seem to be very happy in their relationship and there is no sign of divorce. Jeffry is an actor who has been in the industry for a very long time. In 1972, he played a role in his first movie called The Summertime Killer as Sully Tambor. In 1979, he played a role as Jay Porter in the movie And Justice for All. In 981, he played a role as Waldemar in the movie Saturday the 14th.
