How to lower blood sugar?

Blood sugar is the sugar found in our blood.It is the sugar transported through the blood stream to supply energy to all the cells in our body.The sugar is made from the food we eat.The human digestive system breaks down the carbohydrates from food into various sugar molecules and one of them is glucose which is the body's principal source of energy.The glucose goes from the digestive system into the blood stream after we have consumed and digest the food.The human body regulates blood glucose levels so that they are neither too high nor too low maintaining a condition of equilibrium in the blood.Glucose can only enter cells if there is insulin in the blood stream .Without insulin the cells would be undernourished .After we eat,blood sugar concentrates rise,the pancreas releases insulin automatically so that the glucose enters cells as more as and more cells receive glucose.

After we eat blood sugar increaes automtically from the normal and after 2/3 hours it reduce.But if the amount of sugar in the blood increase then it will be dangerous.It is dangerous as it may create many other problems on the human body.High blood sugar which is also called as diabetes is serious but we can learn to manage it.People with high blood sugar need to make healthy food choices,stay at a healthy weight and some physical exercises .Taking care of owns health condition and blood sugar can help us to feel good in the present and in the future.When our blood sugar is close to normal we are likely to have more energy,be less tired and thirsty,need to pass urine less,heal better and have fewer skin or bladder infection.High sugar in the blood caused problems such as heart attack,eye problems,damage of nerves,kidney problems as well as teeth problems.So its essential to know the level of sugar in the blood.Here some tips are mentioned below which will really help to reduce the blood sugar as it was practised by many patients of high blood sugar:

  • First for daily food consult with the health care team,it will helps to know the right amount of nutrients needed for the body.
  • Choose the food that are rich in fiber such as whole grain cereals,bread or rice.
  • Avoid excess amount of fat,sugar and salt in the food.
  • Choose foods such as fruits,vegetables and milk but excess amount of dairy products are also not so beneficial.
  • Drink water instead of juice and other readymade energy drink.
  • Early to bed and early to rise will also help but be sure that sleep is also essential so sleep at least 8hours.
  • Make some time for physical exercise.
  • If possible make some walk in the morning and in the evening.
  • Don't be stressed or tensioned to much which will affect blood pressure,which will directly affect on the blood sugar.
  • If needed take medicine regularly without missing.
  • Be happy which will automatically make healthy.
