Born on 26th of October, 1947, at Edgewater Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, U.S. Hilary Diane Rodham was brought up in a United Methodist family that first lived in Chicago. When Clinton was a three years child, she along with her family moved to the Chicago suburb of Park Ridge. She was the eldest one among offspring of Hugh Rodham, Father, small but successful textile businessman, belonging to English and Welsh descent and mother, Dorothy Howell, who of  Dutch, English, French Canadian(Quebec), Welsh and Scottish descent, was a homemaker. She does have two younger brothers, Tony and Hugh. As a child, Hillary was a good student among her teachers in the school. She was raised in such a family environment which was politically conservative.

Hillary Clinton stepped her first feet on Maine East High School, where she could participate in the student council. In the school, she was elected as class vice president for the junior year, while she lost the presidential election for the senior year to two boys, who told her that she was stupid to think to be elected president as a girl. Later on, she and other students were transferred to the New Maine South High Scholl, from where she passed scoring the top five percent in the class in 1965.

She was even interested in sports as the school student. She won a number of badges in swimming and softball championships as a Brownie and a Girl Scout.

For the higher study, Hillary Clinton enrolled at Wellesley College, where she studied political science as the major subject. She was the supporter of the anti-war presidential nomination campaign of Democratic Party.

In 1969, she completed her Bachelor of Arts with the departmental honors in Political Science. In the Wellesley College, she became the first student commencement speaker in the history. Her speech impressed hugely to the people around there.

Moreover, Hillary Clinton, to seek post-graduation studies, enrolled to Yale Law School (1969-1973), where she worked on the editorial board of the Yale Review of Law and Social Action. In the Yale Law School, in 1971, she started dating another law student Bill Clinton. She is also a trained attorney.
