Daniel Alves da Silva is a professional football player who plays for the Brazil national football team as well as for the French club Paris Saint-Germain as a right back. He is the third captain of his club and the captain of the national team of Brazil. A hard worker from early childhood, Alves is a burning star in the world of football. Alves has one of the best defending skills of his generation making him able to play as a winger too. Besides football, Alves was appointed as a Special Olympics Ambassador for its Global Football Program in 2011. Despite lacking adequate physical fitness to be a football player, being a target of racism and many other obstacles in his life, Alves has been thriving in the world of football.
Alves was born on 6 May 1983 in Juazeiro, Brazil to his parents Domingos Alves Da Silva (father) and Dona Lucia (mother). Alves was born in a poor family as his father was a farmer and his mother was a housewife. From an early age of six, he helped his father with his farming. His father says Dani was already different from other kids. His siblings explains that he used to write his signature all over the walls claiming that he was practicing his signature for the day he would become famous.
Like Dani himself, his father had a passion for football as well and he eventually managed to organize his own football team. Dani at the age of 10 played as a winger in the team his father managed. But due to the lack of goals he scored, he father re-positioned him as a right back where Alves still plays.
Alves made his professional debut for Esporte Clube Bahia in a match against Parana Clube. Alves performed excellently during his time in the club that landed him a transfer to the Spanish club Sevilla. Alves joined Sevilla as a loan from Bahia. He was the third best player of the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship when he played with Sevilla.
After the failed agreement with Liverpool, Alves extended his contract with Sevilla and played a successful 2006-07 season. Dani received his Spanish citizenship from his time in Spain with the Spanish club. In July 2008, Alves joined Barcelona with a transfer fee of £23 million making him one of the most expensive defenders in the history of football. Alves made his debut for the club in the 2008-09 UEFA Championships League, in the game against Wisla Krakow. Until 2016, Alves contributed for Barcelona as a right-back.
In June 2016, Alves signed a two-year contract with Juventus. Making his debut for Juventus in August 2016 in the game against Fiorentina, Alves scored his first goal for the club in the game against Cagliari. Alves assisted in many goals and scored a few himself during the time in Juventus. On 29 June 2017, he terminated his contract with Juventus by mutual consent. In July 2017, Alves joined the French club Paris Saint-Germain for a two-year contract. He made his debut for the club in July 2017. Alves has been playing for the club since then.
Speaking of his international career, Alves made his debut for Brazil in 2006. He was included in the Brazil’s team for 2007 Copa America. Dani was also in the Brazil’s squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He is playing as the team captain in the current squad of Brazil national football team.
Dani Alves has a lovely height of 172 cm and has a handsome physique. He is successful in his professional career too. With a current market value of £5.40 million (as of 23 December 2017 by Transfermarkt), he is doing great in his career. As much as Dani is successful in his professional career, he had a bumpy love life.

This 34 year old athlete first dated his girlfriend Dinora Santana from 2005 and they married after three years of dating. This couple was blessed with two kids. Unfortunately, this couple lasted only for three more years as they got a divorce in 2011. But Dinora still helps Dani as his agent and business-woman. Even though she is his ex-wife, Dinora stills cares Dani whenever he is injured. In 2017, Alves decided to move on so he got re-married with a model named Joana Sanz.
