Cássio Ramos is a Brazilian professional football player who plays for the Brazil national football team and for the club S.C Corinthians Paulista as a goalkeeper.
Cássio was born on 6 June 1987 in Veranopolis, Brazil. He was born to his mother Maria Ramos but his father’s name isn’t revealed yet. Cássio began his journey to football from the Academy of Brazilian club Gremio. After some time of playing at the Gremio academy, Cássio was promoted to the club’s main team.
Cássio made his professional debut for the club on October 26, 2006, in a game against FC Fluminense. Shortly after, he joined PSV Eindhoven in 2009. By the end of the season, Cássio moved to Sparta Rotterdam until the end of the season. After the end of 2011 season, Cássio left PSV by terminating the contract and signed with Corinthians. By 2012, Ramos was the first-choice goalkeeper of Corinthians.
Speaking of his international career, Cássio was called up for two friendly matches against South Africa and China in August 2012. He was also called up for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification matches.
Standing at a height of 195 cm, this 30 years old footballer is very successful in his professional life. Cássio has a current market value of £3.60 million (as of 23 December 2017 by Transfermarkt). Ramos is a married man. He is married to his wife Janara Sackl. This couple is blessed with a baby daughter Maria Luiza.
