2018 FIFA World Cup: Uruguay
The very first host of World Cup, Uruguay national football team is controlled by the Uruguayan football Association. In the history of World Cup, Uruguay is the first one to lift the Golden Trophy. In 1930, Uruguay defeated Argentina with a score of 4-2. In the 1950 World Cup hosted by Brazil, Uruguay won again by defeating Brazil with a score of 2-1. For three times, Uruguay came in fourth place: in1954, in 1970 and in 2010.
Coached by Oscar Tabarez, Uruguay is on unique nation in the world football to organize multiple major international tournaments in their own country and win all of them.
