The Denmark national football team represents Denmark in all international competition. Controlled by Danish Football Association (DBU), Denmark made its first debut appearance in the FIFA World Cup in the year 1986 along with Canada and Iraq.

As of January 18, 2018, Denmark is in the 12th spot of FIFA ranking. For five times the Danish football team has appeared in the World Cup with showing their best performance in the 1998 FIFA World Cup hosted by France by reaching in the quarter finals.
